Padel on Apple Watch

Keep score, record heart rate and calories, see stats after the match: what Apple Watch can do for padel and what you need.

Updated: October 2026

When you play padel you think about everything except the score. Apple Watch can help, just not out of the box. Here’s what works, what you need and what matters.

What Apple Watch does on its own

With Apple’s Workout app you can start a workout and get heart rate, calories and duration. There’s no padel type, and the watch doesn’t keep the score.

What a padel app adds

An app like Rebotazo turns the watch into a scorer that knows padel’s rules:

  • One tap per point: bottom for your side, top for theirs. Wrong tap? Undo with one tap.
  • All 2026 FIP rules: advantage, golden point or star point, tiebreak, super tiebreak, change of ends and who serves.
  • Haptics: point, game and set feel different on your wrist. If you like, the watch reads out the score.
  • Workout in Health: heart rate and calories are recorded and saved as a workout.
  • Stats afterwards: momentum curve, break points and your record against every opponent on your iPhone.

One watch or two?

One watch is enough for the whole match, in singles and doubles. If your partner or opponent wears one too, pair the watches before the match. You both see the same score and the first tap counts.

Things to keep in mind

  • Battery: charge the watch fully before the match. A long match with heart rate tracking takes a noticeable amount of battery.
  • Fit: wear it a little tighter than usual so heart rate is measured cleanly.
  • Display: Apple Watch SE has no always-on display, so Rebotazo shows the score large and high-contrast as soon as you raise your wrist.

Common questions

Apple's Workout app has no padel type and doesn't keep score. For that you need an app like Rebotazo, which scores the match and saves it to Health as a workout.

Any Apple Watch running watchOS 26, including the affordable Apple Watch SE. Rebotazo is developed and tested on an SE.

Can Apple Watch score padel doubles?

Yes. One watch is enough for the whole doubles match. If two players wear a watch, pair them and both see the same score.

Is my padel match saved to Apple Health?

Yes. Rebotazo saves the match as a workout with duration, heart rate and calories. Because Apple has no padel type, it appears as a tennis workout.
